Required experience:

Looking for MFT or MSW Trainees currently looking for a Practicum Site and are currently in their Masters Program. Experience in the Substance Abuse/Mental Health field preferred.

Psychodynamic and/or Family system modality experience preferred. 

  1. At least 1 year experience working with trauma, addiction, eating disorder or mental health disorders
  2. Is creative, responsive, and passionate about their treatment approach with patients
  3. Interested in bringing creative ideas, passion, and expertise to further enrich and develop our dynamic program
  4. Has background and experience with psychodynamic, family systems, DBT, CBT, attachment-focused, and humanistic approaches
  5. Can cultivate a compassionate and empathic healing space for our clients
  6. Has ability to recognize countertransference issues and can actively seek supervision and peer support
  7. Is skilled in EMDR, somatic work, brain-spotting and other therapeutic modalities, or is willing to seek training

Trainee Responsibilities:

This position's job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • group therapy
  • intake assessments
  • bio-psychosocials 
  • suicide risk assessments
  • crisis management 
  • case management
  • insurance care coordination and utilization reviews 
  • treatment planning/progress notes 
  • Participate in collaborative therapeutic, work environment
  • group Supervision 
  • report to Clinical Director 

Qualifications/Requirements :

  • MFT or MSW
  • RADT 
  • CPR/First Aid 
  • TB Clearance
  • Health Screen
  • Live Scan fingerprinting
  • Valid Driver License


  • Group Supervision (5 face-to-face hours counted towards BBS) 
  • Monthly Trainings (monthly trainings on different modalities, treatment planning, group therapy, trauma work, countertransference/transference etc.) 
  • Dynamic learning and training experience with a dynamic team - ability to work with wide array of acute clients that have personality disorders, severe psychotic/mood/substance use disorders.
